Amazingly, it's just an iPhone 4 on a standard cradle. No extra lights, no external mic, just hit record and off I go. It's using the front facing camera so only captures at 640x360 - I just sync with Photosync and drop into FCP.
Super easy!

Not sure, it's a generic iPhone one I got ages ago. Standard sucker sticks to the windscreen.
