YouTube Comment - YTC006 - Show Update & Intuos4

My usual thursday video comment with some news on this weeks show and a quick peek at my new toy - the Wacom Intuos4 Pen Tablet.

PS Don't worry about the Intel man in the background, I saved him from plunging off the shelf once I realised he was in such a precarious position!

Don I am impressed that you have upgraded so soon and welcome to the intuos club! I must say that I am now very jealous as I am still on my Intous3 wacom tablet but would love to upgrade as you have done! Maybe after Christmas when the sales are on! The Wacom intous comes into its own when you use it a graphics software like Painter or Photoshop. But for now my Intous 3 is my workhorse and it has never failed me in 2 years of use and i use it everyday! Keep up the excellent short youtube video reviews, you do them so well!

Were you the one who put me on the right road?

Loving using the pen tablet.

I alos have a Intuos3 which does me very well in Photoshop bt hadn't thought of using it in FCP. I looked at the Intuos4 but didn't know about the OLED displays, now that is useful since I keep forgetting what I've setup the buttons to do on my Intuous3 :-)
Looking to upgrade now.

The Intuos4 has transformed the way I use FCP. Much more natural! You have to have a steady hand though as it's very easy to move a track clip inadvertently but that's the only downside. I originally thought the OLED may have been superfluous but they are proving to be extremely useful.

I must have overlooked this clip a few weeks back as I watched it today and didn't recall having watched it earlier. Any plans on selling the Bamboo Fun Touch after the comparison video? I've been looking for one as I venture into the world of graphics and web design, but they are way expensive in Sweden. I guess it's the 25% VAT we have...

Re Selling the Bamboo Fun. Probably not. I may have other plans for it! Sorry

Does this work with GIMP also?
