ScreenCastsOnline Media Blitz :-)

Finished Day 2 with some audio interviews.
First was a wrap up panel with Chuck Joiner on the MacVoices show. Just an informal chat with some other Mac voices - Dan Pourhadi, MacVoices’ youth correspondent, Take Control author Steve Sande, and Joel Persing of the Hershey Apple Core. The show should be posted sometime today.
The other one was with Ken Ray of Mac OS Ken. I bumped into Ken earlier in the day on the expo floor but didn't have much of a chance to chat but I've been along time admirer of his particular style of Mac news delivery ever since "Inside Mac Radio". He's now got his own daily podcast which is well worth checking out.
Luckily he was also at the Mac Observer/BackBeat media party last night at The Red Devil Lounge. Pretty cool party with an open bar and some fine music from literally a "band" of macnotables! Yes, a live band with such people as Dave Hamilton, Chris Breen, Paul Levitus and others who actually did some pretty good stuff.
After chatting with Ken, he nabbed me and Adam Christianson just as we were leaving for a short interview. Despite my worries the alcohol might possibly slur my speech, it wasn't too bad :-)
Ken must have posted the interview when he got home as it's already available for download from his site
Day 3 is a Show Floor day so looking forward to that, but I'm really looking forward to the Mac Podcasters meeting later on today. Should be good fun.

Hi Don, just watched the video, well done on the steady hand, that's not an easy trick to pull off, especially in a crowd!
Personally I'd be very tempted to buy an iPone but keep my traditional phone and just use iPhone as an Internet Terminal/media device. It'll be interesting to see which UK Telco runs with it, I guess Orange would be the obvious choice as they're always so good at bolting the bits on to make their network fly.
Wonder if it'll prompt Vodafone to resurrect their EDGE service which trialled well but then got put on the shelf We actually did the UK trial here in sunny Southampton and personally I thought it was more robust thatn 3G but...
Have fun .. Phil Bridges
(Bet you wish you were still in Corporate IT rather having to trapse around some boring old tech show eh.. NOT!)
Yes, the iPhone is definitely the launch of a whole new platform, not just a phone.
It will be cool if they go with Orange as the we'll have Apple and Orange :-)
Actually, my legs are in bulk with all the walking but I don't expect any sympathy!
