YTC008 - New Lights & Audio Woes

Well the new video lights have arrived and I hurriedly set them up to record todays video comment. It may take me a little while to get used to them!

Don, I don't know if you're aware but Screencasts Online was voted one of the best video podcasts on the iTunes Rewind 2009 feature. I'm pretty sure you know about it already but just in case I thought I'd tell you. Loving the Youtube comments and the new lights look great.

A little bit of negative feedback I am afraid Don, but for me your blog was about what you are doing with the tech, and what you are doing with SCO.

The Video blogs seem to be more about promoting SCO and for that maybe you need a SCO YouTube channel.

That said its a difficult split and I am probably in the minority. I would just like to suggest you look at the mix and consider the blend.

Now about these lights? Do we get to see them? Where's the studio tour?

All feedback is good feedback Mark, positive or negative!

I see what you're saying but that really wasn't the idea behind the video comments. It was meant to be an opinion platform rather than a promotional vehicle. I suppose the Apple news has been a bit light recently so the ScreenCastsOnline content is a bit of a crutch.

I'll certainly look at the mix!

Leave it with me :-)
