Hey - I'm in the Movies!

OK, Not really but you knew that anyway!

No the reference is with respect to a post I made a few days ago about coverage of the iPhone and an interesting blog post I mentioned.

My Google vantity feed picked up the fact that the author of the original post had collected all the various responses to the post and commented on them (Getting a bit circular this!)

Anyhow, the reason for my bringing this up is his description of my blog:

Don McAllister's blog, My Own Reality seems to deal with the hollywood/cinema industry.

Eek!!

How can someone think my blog is about Hollywood or the Cinema Industry? I can only presume he has assumed ScreenCastsOnline is all about casting in the movie industry - Screen Casting

I suppose it's possible but it's a bit late to change my main brand name to something else :-(

In case the article generates some traffic this way - ScreenCastsOnline - is all about Mac tutorials delivered as a "ScreenCAst" which is a movie.....

Damm! I am in the movies!

Congratulations Don, ha-ha...

Sorry about that. I was trying to get as many of the comments as possible and you saw how hideously long that posting was already. Didn't do my homework well enough. I did honestly think that screen cast meant movies. I'll go change that description, so you won't get any Hollywood types lurking around these Mac pages. I'll put you in the Apple/Mac category of the replies.

Sorry about that.

And while I'm here, thanks for mentioning our blog.
